The Scott Skyhawks continued their winning ways as they rolled past Point Pleasant, 68-20, on Friday in West Madison.
The Skyhawks (4-0) are one of the top teams in Class AA and seem poised to make a run at the state title this season.
Quarterback and Kennedy Award Candidate Matt Frye tallied 441 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also added 1 rushing touchdown.
Carson Brinegar had a monster game on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he had 9 receptions for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 3 carries for 42 yards. Defensively, he had 3 interceptions, returning one of them for a touchdown.
David Fennessy had a great game on defense, recording 17 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 pass deflection.
The Skyhawks will next play on Friday at Chapmanville. The opening kick is set for 7 pm.
