The Ashland Tomcats improved to 4-0 on the season as they picked up a road win over the Bardstown Tigers, 45-24, on Friday.
For the Tomcats, LaBryant Strader completed 7-of-11 passes for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also added 5 carries for 14 yards. Brandon Houston completed 2-of-4 passes for 29 yards while rushing for 12 yards on 2 carries.
Maverick Ashby led Ashland in rushing with 91 yards and 2 touchdowns on 4 carries. Braxton Jennings had 15 carries for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns. Atayveon Thomas finished with 2 yards on 5 rushing attempts.
Jennings led Tomcat receivers with 83 yards and 1 touchdown on 2 receptions. Cameron Davis had 4 catches for 81 yards and 1 touchdown. Sam Lyons hauled in 2 catches for 50 yards. Asher Adkins had 1 reception for 20 yards in the win.
Ashland will next travel to Russell (2-2) on Friday for a clash with the Red Devils. The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm.
