Carter Hurley finished first and the rest of the Pikeville Panthers had strong showings at the Cougar Combo Cross Country Meet at Morgan County.
Hurley was first place in the male category. His teammate Cadence Compton, a freshman, placed second in the female category.
Senior Kristen Whited, sophomore Kylie Alvin, freshman Daylan Keathley, freshman Eric Lin, 8th grader Allyson Leitch and 7th grader Patton Trimble all had great showings as well for the Panthers.
