FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PREVIEW: Bulldogs Hope To Take A Bite Out Of Greyhounds

The Hazard Bulldogs look to build off last week’s win, but standing in their way is the high powered Paris Greyhounds.

Hazard (1-1) is coming off a close 13-12 win over Harlan County last week.

Quarterback Max Pelfrey comes into the game completing 32-of-55 passes for 307 yards, 2 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He will want to protect the ball this week for the Bulldogs to pull out the win.

The Bulldogs have had a trio of top receivers this season. Gavin Johnson has 9 catches for 89 yards and 1 touchdown. Jayvon White has 9 receptions for 74 yards and 1 touchdown. Gaige Logan has 7 catches for 72 yards. They will need to be clicking to win this weekend.

Paris (2-0) has been dominant in both games so far, including last week’s 58-12 dismantling of Paintsville.

Paris is led by Jakari Ransom. Ransom has 123 yards and 4 touchdowns on 21 carries. He also has 7 catches for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns.

As a team, the Paris defense is only giving up 6 points per game, so Hazard will need to be firing in this one.

The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm on Friday at Paris.
