West Virginia Diamond Dusters Have Great 8U Softball Season

The West Virginia Dusters 8u travel softball team completed a fantastic summer season. The team finished with a 49-7-2 record , winning nine tournament championships along the way . They topped it off by traveling to two big time World Series tournaments where they faced top notch competition.

The Diamond Dusters were up to the task , finishing runners-up in the North American All Sanctioned World Series in Columbus, OH and taking home the title in the Top Gun World Series in the Charlotte,NC area .

These ladies now begin the transition to 10u competition this fall. The team is made up of girls from all over the Tri-State and is based in the Ashland – Huntington area .

The Diamond Dusters are Scarlett Marcum, Harper Griffith, Madi Mills, Ava Bayes, Jaycee Webb, Emma Cannoy, Lacey Lambert, Hattie Morgan, Paige Tudor, Judy Stacy and Addy Mellert. They are coached by Adam Cannoy. He is assisted by Courtney Lester, Brian Bayes and Chris Mellert.
