The Grayson Baseball Club Bat Cats Blue won the the 9U Youth Baseball World Series in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The team went 6-1 to earn the top seed heading into tournament play, and Grayson shine during those games.
First, GBC Blue defeated the Seacoast Pirates from New Hampshire, 14-1, in the quarter finals. Then, they knocked off the Chicago Heat, 9-4, to reach the title game.
In that game, they faced Team Elite from Philadelphia. There, GBC Blue won, 11-3, to bring the title back to the Bluegrass State.
During the season, the GBC Bat Cats Blue had a record of 52-7-1, including 10 championships.
