The South Central Floyd Little League All-Stars recently won the District 7 Championship and will now play in the Kentucky State Little League Tournament in Lexington.
South Central Floyd beat Shelby Valley, Phelps and Paintsville to advance to the state tournament.
They will open tournament play on Saturday at 6:30 pm when they face North Laurel. Then, they are set to face Washington County on Sunday at 8:30. On Monday, they will face Lexington Eastern at 4 pm.
The team is managed by Wesley Case. The assistant coaches are Larry Mullins and Geremy Crisp. The players are BJ Gibson, Quinn Harlow, Drake Tackett, Colt West, Rylan Mullins Rylan Hall, Cash Haley, Eli Strong, Blake Cole, Maddox Howard, Braylon “Bubbo” Hall and Parker Newsome.
