Pikeville Middle School exploded for 13 runs in extra to innings to pick up a 26-13 win over Belfry on Monday in the Pike County Middle School in the Pike County Middle School Softball Championship.
Cat Walters led the Lady Panthers by batting 5-of-6 with an inside the park home run, a triple, 4 RBI and 5 runs scored. Rebecca Hall was 4-of-6 with 2 RBI and 4 runs scored. Brooklyn Hensley was 4-of-6 with a triple with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Korbyn Williams was 4-of-6 with a triple, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Taylor Moore was 3-of-5 with 3 runs scored. Jenna Samons was 2-of-6 with 1 RBI and 4 runs scored. Lindy Gearheart was 2-of-6 with 1 RBI. London Pugh was 2-of-5 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Lucy Epling was 2-of-5 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Hall picked up the win in the pitcher’s circle for Pikeville.
