The 2nd seed Logan Wildcats jumped all over the top seed Chapmanville Tigers early on the way to a 13-3 win in Chapmanville on Thursday.
At the plate for the Wildcats, Aiden Slack was 2-of-3 with a stolen base, a triple, 3 RBI with 2 runs scored. Ryan Roberts was 2-of-3 with a stolen base, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Jarron Glick was 1-of-3 with a double, 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Jake Ramey, Garrett Williamson, Konner Lowe and Cole Blankenship had a single each.
For Chapmanville, Talan Thompson and Andrew Topping each had a double. Brody Dalton, Trey Butcher and Eli Surgoine each had singles.
Lowe got the win on the mound after allowing only 1 hit and striking out 4 batters in 3 innings. Topping got the loss for the Tigers.
Chapmanville will host Wayne on Friday in an elimination game. Logan will then battle the winner of that game in the championship round on Saturday.
