Braxton Kendrick threw a 4-inning no-hitter on Monday as the East Ridge Warriors blanked the Phelps Hornets, 15-0.
Kendrick struck out 10 of the 13 batters he faced in the effort and allowed no bases on balls. The only Phelps runner came as a result of an error.
Dylan Burdine led the Warriors at the plate by batting 2-of-3 with a stolen base, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Kolin Blackburn was 2-of-2 with a stolen base, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Hayden Robinette was 2-of-2. Gabe Mullins had a double, 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Stevie Layne and Brady Miller had a single, 2 RBI and 1 run scored each.
East Ridge will next play at Pike County Central on Tuesday. Phelps hosts Betsy Layne on Tuesday.
