The Pike County Central Hawks jumped ahead in the 1st inning and never looked back as they earned a convince 11-1 win over the East Ridge Warriors on Saturday.
The Hawks were led at the plate by Kaden Crum’s 3-of-3 day with a stolen base, a double 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Patrick Mandrell was 2-of-3 with a stolen base and 1 RBI. Luke Thornsbury was 2-of-3 with 3 stolen bases and 3 runs scored. Blake Hager, Caleb Mouton and Isaac Blankenship each had singles.
The Warriors got a double from Stevie Layne and singles from Landon Robinson and Brady Miller.
Cameron Shearer got the win on the mound, allowing only 1 run on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts over 3-2/3 innings pitched. Robinson was given the loss.
Pike County Central will travel to Prestonsburg on Monday. East Ridge will host Phelps on Monday.
