The Scott Lady Skyhawks never trailed as they defeated the Logan Lady Wildcats, 8-1, on Thursday in the sectional tournament.
For Scott, Natalie Green led the way by batting 3-of-4 with a home run, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Cambri Barker was 2-of-4 with a double and 1 RBI. Dailan Adkins added a double and Hannah Price had a single.
For the Lady Wildcats, Taylor Noe was 2-of-4 with a stolen base and a triple. Kaylie Coleman added a single.
Tatum Halley earned the win in the pitcher’s circle after allowing no earned runs and only 3 hits while recording 3 strikeouts. Myleigh Adkins was given the loss for Logan
