Ava Sampson and Cambri Barker combined for a no-hitter as the Scott Lady Skyhawks defeated the visiting Mingo Central Lady Miners, 15-1, in the sectional tournament on Wednesday.
The Lady Miners scored a run in the top of the 1st inning, but the Lady Skyhawks scored the final 15 runs to secure the win.
Barker and Tatum Halley each hit home runs for Scott. Sampson, Jakayla Gaiter, Kaleigh Ellis and Natalie Green all had hits for the the Lady Skyhawks.
Scott will next host Logan tomorrow. Mingo Central will play at Chapmanville in an elimination game tomorrow.
