East Ridge quarterback Dylan Burdine signed his National Letter of Intent to continue playing his football career at Kentucky State University on Wednesday.

Burdine had a fantastic season for the Warriors (4-6) this past season. He completed 139-of-222 passes for 2,079 yards, 20 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions. Burdine also showed off his running ability by rushing for 756 yards and 6 touchdowns on 104 rushing attempts.

Burdine also put up some solid numbers on defense, accounting for 75 total tackles, including 3 for loss. He also had 1 interception and 2 fumble recoveries on the defensive side of the ball.

He will hope to help out the Thoroughbreds as they try to improve on a 4-6 record. Kentucky State plays in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) in NCAA Division II.
