The Shelby Valley Junior High Dance Team took home three National Championships over the weekend in the Easter Cheer and Dance National Competition in Gatlinburg, TN.
The team won titles for all three of its dances and received the highest score for all dances with its Hip Hop dance. The Hip Hop dance was given the Grand Champion Award. The squad was give the Sweet Surprise Award, which comes with an invitation to the national competition next season in Hershey, PA.
