The Floyd Central Lady Jaguars scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning and never looked back as they defeated Morgan County, 12-5, on Monday.
For the Lady Jaguars, Brooklyn Lewis was 2-of-3 with a triple, 2 stolen bases, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Cadyn Roberson was 2-of-4 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Madi Meade was 2-of-4 with a stolen base, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. Mia Queen-Gilliam, Allie Hamilton and Delilah Rodriguez each had a single apiece.
Roberson scattered 13 hits and 5 runs while striking out 5 batters over 7 innings to get the win.
Floyd Central will next play at Phelps on Tuesday.
