The Pike County Central Lady Hawks never trailed as they hammered the Belfry Lady Pirates, 13-2, on Thursday at Belfry High School.
For the Lady Hawks, Emalie Tackett was 3-of-4 with a home run, a double, 4 stolen bases, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Abby Hess was 2-of-5 with a home run, a stolen base, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Kaiden Hess was 2-of-4 with a double and 2 RBI. Liv Sanders batted 2-of-5 with a double and 1 run scored. Sydney Thompson, Taylor Hannah and Chloe Hannah each had hits in the win.
For Belfry, Isabella Howard was 2-of-3 with a triple and 1 RBI. Natalie Fite was 2-of-3 in the loss.
Chloe Hannah got the win for the Lady Hawks, allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 6 batters. Molly Fahm was given the loss for Belfry.
Pike County Central will next play on Saturday at Johnson Central. Belfry will next play Raceland on May 6.
