The Pike County Central Hawks got 7 runs in the 2nd inning on the way to a 12-5 win over the East Ridge Warriors on Monday.
For the Hawks, Caleb Mouton was 2-of-2 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. Warren Newsome was 2-of-2 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Patrick Mandrell was was 1-of-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Isaac Blankenship was 1-of-3 with 2 RBI.
Dylan Burdine led the Warriors at the plate by going 2-of-3 with a triple, stolen base and 2 runs scored. Landon Robinson was 1-of-1 with 1 run scored. Brady Miller was 1-of-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Hayden Robinette was 1-of-4 with a double. Connor Adkins was 1-of-1 with a stolen base.
On the mound, Blake Hager picked up the win after allowing 2 earned run on only 1 hit while striking out 6 batters in 3-1/3 innings. Robinson was given the loss for East Ridge.
Pike County Central is scheduled to play at Tug Valley on Friday. East Ridge will next play Jenkins on Thursday.
