The Floyd Central Jaguars exploded for 10 runs in the 4th inning on the way to a 23-8 win over Knott County Central on Thursday.
For the Lady Jaguars, Brooklyn Lewis was 4-of-5 with 2 stolen bases, 3 RBI and 4 runs scored. Whitley Hall was 3-of-4 with a double, 2 stolen bases, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored. Mia Queen-Gilliam batted 2-of-5 with a double, a stolen base, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. Cadyn Roberson was 2-of-4 with a stolen base and 3 runs scored. Madi Meade added an inside the park grand slam, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Alaina Morris had a triple, 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. Delilah Rodriquez added a hit, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Roberson allowed 5 earned run on 10 hits and struck out 4 batters to get the win.
Floyd Central will face Prestonsburg on Friday at 6 pm.
