Pikeville Performs Well In Boyd County Meet

The Pikeville boys finished 8th and the girls finished 5th in the Rice/Stacey Boyd County Classic Track & Field Meet in Ashland.

For the boys, Jacob Rogers was 1st in the triple jump and set a new school record. Carter Hurley was 1st in the 800m run. Drew Ferguson placed 2nd in the shot put and finished 3rd in the discus throw.

For the girls, Nicole Lin was 2nd in the 100m hurdles. Kylie Hall was 3rd in both the 100m dash and 200m dash. Lin, Ava Rogers, Olivia Hamilton and Hall were 2nd in the 4x100m relay. Lin, Hall, Maria Perez and Ava Rogers were 1st in the 4x200m relay. Leighan Jackson placed 2nd in the shot put.
