The Chapmanville Lady Tigers took the lead in the 2nd inning and never looked back as they defeated the Tug Valley Lady Panthers, 10-1, on Wednesday in Chapmanville.
Emma Muncy led the Lady Tigers by batting 2-for-3 with two doubles, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Laken Parks was 2-for-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. Erica Sigmon was 1-for-2 with 3 RBI. Hannah Miller was 1-for-2 with a triple, 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
Charity Atwood picked up the win, allowing only 1 run on 6 hits with 3 strikeouts.
For Tug Valley, Kinna Justice was 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored. Haleigh Muncy had Tug Valley’s lone RBI. Justice was given the loss for the Lady Panthers.
Chapmanville is scheduled to play at Logan on Thursday. The Lady Panthers is set to travel to Pike County Central on Thursday.
