Lady Panthers Claw Westside

The Tug Valley Lady Panthers jumped out early and never looked back as they defeated the Westside Renegades, 13-0, on Tuesday.

Bailee Hall led the Panthers in pitcher’s circle and at the plate. Hall pitched all 5 innings, allowing only 1 hit while striking out 5 batters. At the plate, she was 3-for-3 with 2 RBI, 3 runs scored and a stolen base.

Amelya Wellman was 2-for-3 with a double, 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Kinna Justice batted 2-for-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored. McKynnli Farley was 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Tailyn Russell was 2-for-2 with 2 RBI, 3 stolen bases and 3 runs scored.

For Westside, Jayde Hammrick had the only hit. Myles Meadows picked up the loss pitching.

Tug Valley will next play on Wednesday at Chapmanville. Westside will battle Independence on the road on Wednesday.
