Mason Takes First In High Jump, Other Warriors Perform Well In Mason County Indoor Meet

Zack Mason captured first place in the High Jump and other Warrior athletes had strong showings as East Ridge competed in the Mason County Indoor Track & Field Meet on Saturday.

Mason set a personal record of 6-feet-3 to secure the victory. He also finished sixth in the Triple Jump with a distance of 35-feet-11.25 in that event.

Keghan Thompson was fourth in the 1,600m race with a time of 4:59.06. He also placed fifth in the 3,200m race with a time of 10:49.62.

Brayden Sayers also performed well. He finished 17th in the 1,600m race with a time of 5:24.36. Sayers placed 12th in the 3,200m race, clocking in at 10:49.62.

All three athletes will be in action when they compete in the 2023 Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association State Indoor Championship on March 5th in Louisville.
