The Wayne Lady Pioneers jumped on top early and never let up as they blasted the Lincoln County Lady Panthers, 51-26, to win the sectional championship on Friday out Wayne.
The Lady Pioneers (23-1) jumped out to a 16-5 lead after the first period of play. Wayne increased the advantage to 31-7 at the half. The Lady Panthers (6-17) never posed a serious threat as Wayne coasted to the win in the second half.

Brooke Adkins and Laneigh Brooks paced the Lady Pioneers with 13 points apiece. Mikayla Stacy followed with 10 points. Eve Brown and Kinley Runyon scored 4 points each. Addie Adkins dropped in 3 points. Shelby Anderson and Cheyenne Williams chipped in 2 points apiece.
Lincoln County was led by Maci Lunsford and Kaden Peters with 9 points each. Gracie Clay scored 4 points. Elizabeth Blankenship added 3 points. Hayden Moore chipped in 1 point.
Wayne will next play in the Regional championship round on Wednesday by welcoming Winfield (13-10) to Wayne.
