The Pike County Central Hawks picked up a win over the visiting Belfry Pirates, 61-53 on Tuesday at Pike County Central High School.
The Hawks (10-6) were led by Jaden Stewart with 25 points. Jaylan Rigdon followed with 19 points. Peyton Owens added 6 points. Peyton Compton dropped in 5 points. Blake Adams scored 4 points. Isaac Reynolds chipped in 2 points.
For Belfry (4-13), Jonathan Banks paced the attack with 25 points. Cody Erwin followed with 9 points. Noah Brown added 8 points. Eric Daniels fired in 7 points. Cayden Varney and Chase Varney added 2 points each.
Pike County Central will next play on Thursday at East Ridge in a 7:30 pm clash. Belfry will play at Martin County on Saturday at 7:30 pm.
