Logan Middle School Slips Past Lenore

The Logan Timberwolves got 18 points from Lucas Lambert as they squeaked past the Lenore Rangers, 53-52, on Saturday in Logan.

Logan jumped on top early, leading the Rangers 13-9 after the first period and 27-18 at the half. Lenore battle back and cut the Timberwolves’ lead to 40-37 after three periods. Both teams battled down the stretch with the Timberwolves coming out on top.

Gage Green followed Lambert with 15 points. Grayson Sanders had 12 points. Bentley Williamson netted 5 points. Crew Blankenship dropped in 2 points. Zu Murphy chipped in 1 point.

Preston May led all scorers for Lenore with 27 points. Cameron Slone added 15 points. Ashton Evans and Jacob Maynard had 3 points apiece. Trenton Hager and Jarron Holyfield scored 2 points each.
