The Mingo Central Miners got 20 points and 8 rebounds from Jake Cline en route to a 65-50 win at over the home standing River View Raiders on Tuesday.
The Miners (5-4) held a 27-22 lead at the half before gaining some distance in the third period. Mingo Central held a 15-9 advantage in the period to take a 42-31 lead into the final quarter. They maintained the lead from there.
Matthew Hatfield followed Cline with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Kendan Trent added 12 points. Malaki Sheppard had 10 points. Chris Ross dropped in 6 points. Ethan Thomason finished with 2 points in the win.
Mingo Central will next play on Saturday against the visiting Westside Renegades. The tip is set for 7:30 pm.
