East Ridge Runs Past Jenkins

In the opening round of the ALL A Classic, the East Ridge Warriors squared off against the Jenkins Cavaliers. In a rematch of a game played just 5 days earlier, the Warriors came out on top 86-72.

East Ridge was led by their sensational Senior Braxton Stanley. Stanley was red hot from the field shooting 16-24 including 3-8 from behind the arch on his way to a game high 39 points. The Warriors placed two other players in double figures. Freshman Jackson Keene added 13 points on 5-11 shooting from the field. Isaiah Adkins added 11 points while leading the team in rebounding with 5. Other Warriors scoring were Brad Howell with 9 points, Zack Mason, Gunner Ward and Carter Damron all chipped in with 4 points each. Keeton Puckett rounded out the scoring with 2 points.

With the win, East Ridge moves to 9-6 on the season and will advance to take on the Martin County Cardinals on Friday. With the loss, the Jenkins dropped to 10-8 on the season. Next up for Jenkins, the Cavaliers will travel to Abingdon Va to take on Abingdon Christian on Friday.
