The Tug Valley Panthers jumped all over the visiting Gilmer County Titans and never let up as they rolled to an 87-42 win on Thursday in the Kaydence Maynard Memorial Christmas Classic at Tug Valley High School.
The Panthers (3-2) jumped out to a 22-10 lead after the first quarter and then upped the advantage to 51-15 at the half.
Paul Preece and Parker Davis led the Panthers with 15 points each. Buddy Marcum and Kaden Hale followed with 8 points each. Evan Bryant and Johnathan Wagner added 7 points each. Julian Vance and Ashton Davis each netted 5 points. Joey Gollihue dropped in 4 points. Braydun Ferris chipped in 3 points. Brady Brewer, Bryson Elia, Aiden Armstrong, Carson Newsome and Jace Hale scored 2 points each.
The Panthers will play Cameron on Friday night in the Kaydence Maynard Memorial Christmas Classic at Tug Valley High School. The opening tip is set for 8:45 pm in Naugatuck.
