Scott’s Kelsey Harper is having a fantastic sophomore campaign for the Lady Hawks (4-3). Through hard work, she has put herself in a position to lead the program for the next three seasons.
Harper is a tall 5-foot-9 knock down shooter with deep range. Through 7 games this season, she is 9th in the state in scoring, according to MaxPreps, with an 18.8 points per game average. She also ranks 4th in 3-point field goals made (20) and is among the Top 10 free throw shooters in both free throws made and free throw percentage.
As a freshman, Harper was a second team All-Cardinal Conference selection and was ranked in the Top 10 in 3-point field goals made.
With two seasons remaining after this one, Harper has positioned herself to be one of the best talents in the area to lead her program for years to come.
Scott hits the road to play Ironton on Tuesday.
