KHSAA Releases 1st Girls Basketball Stats of the Season

As most teams have played 8 or more games the Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) released their first stat report for the 2022-2023 season. The release has some familiar faces sitting a top the rankings. Below is the girls breakdown and where the ladies in the D&D Coverage area stack up.

Scoring Leaders

With the release of the girls rankings, the dominance of Ms. Kensley Feltner across the Bluegrass shows clear. Feltner leads the state in scoring with a 27. 4 points per game. Below is the Top 5 in the D&D coverage area:

  1. Lawrence County Kensley Feltner 27.4 PPG State Ranking 1st
  2. Greenup County Rachel Bush 22.4 PPG State Ranking 6th
  3. Fleming County Ariana Adams 19.6 PPG State Ranking 12th

Field Goal Percentage Leaders

Again, Feltner shows why she is a leading contender for KY Miss Basketball. The Senior is putting up impressive numbers as she ranks second in the state making an unbelievable 68.6% from the field. Below is the leaders in the D&D coverage area:
