Lewis County softball stars Emily Cole and Kayla Sullivan recently revealed their choices for where they would continue their respective softball careers.
Cole, a star pitcher for the Lady Lions, signed to play at Marshall in November. Lady Lion slugger Sullivan inked a deal to play at Union College.
Cole finished the 2022 season with 30 wins and a state-leading 431 strikeouts. She was named the the 16th Region Player of the Year and a first team all-state selection. She already has over 1,000 strikeouts and still has her senior season left.
Sullivan had a great 2022 season as well. She boasted a .608 batting average with 8 home runs, 37 RBI and 64 runs scored. She has an impressive 21 homers for her high school career and has a career batting average of .480.
But before they head off to college, both will help Lewis County compete for another 16th Region title.
