The Wayne Pioneers stepped on the gas early and never looked back as they raced past Liberty-Harrison, 64-39, on Monday for a road win.
The Pioneers (2-0) held a 37-19 lead at the half and extended it more throughout the second half to earn the win.
Dillon May led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Isaac Meddings and Ronnie Staley each fired in in 12 points. Zane Adkins had 10 points. Isaiah Lowe netted 8 points. Cooper Adkins finished with 4 points.
Wayne will next play on Friday against Teays Valley Christian in the FCA Hoops Classic. The tip is set for 4:30 pm at West Virginia State University.
