The 7th-ranked in Class AA Chapmanville Lady Tigers picked up a gigantic early season victory by knocking off 8th-ranked in Class AAA Fairmont Senior, 57-23, on Saturday in Chapmanville.
Chapmanville (2-0) roared out to a 16-3 first quarter score and never looked back. The Tiger defense held Fairmont Senior to 6-of-52 shooting from the field.
Alaira Evans led the way with 21 points. Chloe Thompson followed with 11 points. Haley Fleming added 4 points. Daizi Farley, Rylee Prichard, Riley Lucas, Tayli Smith and Jaiden Mahon all had 3 points. Makayla Parsons and Savannah Kirk finished with 2 points each. Brooke Christian finished with 1 point.
