With Matt Frye’s amazing performance against Nitro Earning him the Double Kwik “Player of the Week”, four other players had outstanding performances.
First we start in Raceland as Logan Lundy continues to fill up the stat sheets. In Racelands 48 – 0 win over Nicholas County, Lundy completed 16-23 passes for 276 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Next up we have dual threat QB Jonah Little. The Letcher County star, carried the football 15 times for 166 yards and 5 touchdowns . The QB also completed 5-8 passes for 67 yards and 1 touchdown. Letcher Central rolled past Knox Central 61-6.
Greenup County’s Tyson Sammons had another great night. Sammons completed 12-18 passes for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also carried the football 4 times for 71 yards. On the defensive side of the ball Sammons had 7 tackles, 5 of which were solo. Greenup County rolled over Pike Central 47-0.
Finally we end up in Belfry where Camden Woolum ran wild on the Red Devils. Woolum carried the football 16 times for 313 yards and 5 touchdowns. Belfry won big 56-14 over Russell.
