Logan Falls At Herbert Hoover

The Logan Wildcats fell to Herbert Hoover, 56-14, on Friday at home to end their regular season.

Even with the loss, the Wildcats (6-4) qualified for the the WVSSAC Class AA playoffs with the 16th seed.

Drew Berry was 13-of-20 passing for 191 yards , 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. He also had 3 carries for 13 yards.

Gabe Workman added 10 carries for 33 yards. Bryce Davis had 2 carries for 14 yards and 1 touchdown. Preston Kovach added 2 carries for 7 yards. Caden Justice had 1 carry for 3 yards.

Garrett Williamson had 6 catches for 115 yards and 1 touchdown. Aiden Slack added 26 yards on 4 catches. Julius finished with 2 catches for 7 yards.

Logan will now travel to top-ranked Winfield (9-1) to take on the generals in the opening round of the playoffs. The opening kick is set for Saturday at 1:30 pm
