The Betsy Layne Bobcats saw their season come to an end at the hands of the home standing Paris Greyhounds in the opening round of the 1A KHSAA State Football Playoffs.
Betsy Layne (5-6) was led by Reese Music’s 148 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on 27 attempts. Music also had a kickoff return for a touchdown. Brady Robinson had 28 yards on 6 carries. He was also 1-of-3 passing for 34 yards. Andrew McCutcheon added 1 carry for 6 yards.
Carter Parsons completed 3-of-11 passes for 104 yards and 2 interceptions. He also had 1 carry for 12 yards.
McCutcheon had 2 receptions for 97 yards. Robinson added 2 catches for 41 yards.
Paris (8-3) was led by Preston Cowan who had 22 tackles.
