Prime Time Performers – week 10

Following in the shadows of the Betsy Layne offensive explosion in Fairview that saw Reece Music and Brady Robinson win co-player of the week honors, four other athletes turned in some great performances as well.

Our first stop takes us to East Ridge where West Carter’s Cole Crampton carried the football 26 times for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Comets beat the Warriors 33-14.

Next we visit Champmanville, West Va as the visiting Logan Wildcats came to town. Chapmanville Running Back Kohl Famer put the Tigers on his back as he rushed for 197 yards on 35 carries and scored 3 Touchdowns as the Tigers rolled past county rival Logan 49-7.

The final two Prime Time Performers come from the defensive side of the football. In Morehead a defensive battle took place as Boyd County won in 2OT over Rowan County by the score of 14-7. For Boyd County Erikk Germann led the way with 18 tackles for the Lions.

Finally in Prestonsburg, Martin County’s Madden Miller helped stop the Blackcats with his 18 tackles including 2 for loss. Miller also rushed the football 11 times for 33 yards and 2 Tds as the Cardinals won 27-20.
