The Spring Valley Timberwolves are 7th in this week’s WVSSAC Class AAA Football Rankings.
The Timberwolves (6-2) lost to the now 6th-ranked George Washington Patriots (6-2), 39-27, on Friday at home.
Spring Valley will try to improve its playoff positioning on Friday by hitting the road to take on the Parkersburg Big Reds (4-4).
The top 16 teams in each classification at season’s end qualify for the WVSSAC State Football Championship Tournament.
