The Man Hillbillies and Tug Valley Panthers are ranked 12th and 14th respectively in this week’s WVSSAC Class A Football rankings released on Tuesday.
The Hillbillies (6-2) had a bye week this past week and will next travel to Naugatuck to take on the Panthers (6-2).
Tug Valley is coming off a 49-14 win over visiting Class AA Westside (2-6) on Friday night. The winner of this contest will solidify a spot in the playoffs, while the loser will be in danger of missing the playoffs completely.
The opening kick is set for Friday at 7:30 pm at Bob Brewer Stadium in Naugatuck.
The top 16 teams in each classification at season’s end qualify for the WVSSAC State Football Championship Tournament.
