Johnson Central Hammers Harlan County

The Johnson Central Golden Eagles rolled up 328 yards on the ground to run past the home standing Harlan County Black Bears, 43-0, on Friday.

The Golden Eagles (6-2) had a strong defensive effort in the outing, holding Harlan County (3-5) to only 41 total yards.

Chase Price had 17 carries for 172 yards and 3 touchdowns. Zack McCoart had 48 yards and 1 touchdown on 9 carries. Mason Lawson recorded 6 carries for 30 yards. Christian Barnes carried the ball 3 times for 25 yards and 1 touchdown. Jacob Grimm had 4 carries for 24 yards and 1 touchdown. Logan Music added 20 yards on 3 carries. Logan Morrow had 1 carry for 10 yards.

Defensively, Logan Castle and Seth Davis led the way with 5 tackles. Chandler Spradlin added 2 interceptions.

Johnson Central returns home this week to take on the Letcher County Central Cougars (6-2). The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm.
