Quarterback Tyson Sammons had 3 rushing touchdowns for the Musketeers 21-10 win over East Carter on Friday. He carried the ball 23 times for 158 yards. Sammons also had 9 passing completions for 138 yards. Ike Henderson had 20 carried for 88 yards.
Cade Hunt caught the ball 5 times for 70 yards. Jayce Griffith had 2 receptions for 27 yards. Ike Henderson had 1 catch for 25 yards and Hunter Clevenger had a catch for 16 yards.
Kicker Carson Wireman went 3-3 PAT’s
The Musketeer defense only allowed the Raiders 121 rushing yards. Wyatt Perkins and Hunter Clevernger had 5 tackles each. Carson Wireman and Jayce Griffith added 4 tackles a piece. Brody Stevens, Ethan Kelley, and Brock Thomas all had 3 tackles. Ethan Kelley also had a 34 yard interception.
Greenup County (6-2) takes on Ashland Blazer at home, Oct 21.
