The Westside Renegades will take to the gridiron after a week off to travel to play the 7th-ranked Nicholas County Grizzlies on Friday.
Westside (2-4) last played two weeks ago in a 38-22 win over Liberty-Raleigh. In that contest, Dale Bledsoe went off with 274 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns on 22 rushing attempts. Bledsoe came into that game with only 9 yards on 2 attempts coming into that game. But his 283 yards on the season paces the Renegades.
Quarterback Kadien Vance will guide the Renegade offense. Vance has completed 43-of-77 passes for 412 yards, 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions. He also has 188 yards and 4 touchdowns on 66 carries. Hunter Cline has 167 yards and 1 touchdown on 52 carries. Parker Lambert has 36 carries for 130 yards.
Kyler Kenneda leads the Westside receivers with 16 catches for 128 yards.
Nicholas County (5-1) is coming off a 51-0 win over Braxton County. The Grizzlies have won five straight games.
Kickoff is set for 7 pm at Nicholas County.
