Tug Valley Looks To Tackle Mount View

The 11th-ranked Tug Valley Panthers look to continue building their resume when they host the Mount View Golden Knights in Naugatuck this Friday.

Tug Valley is coming off a bye week after knocking of rival Tolsia, 44-7.

The Panthers (5-1) are led by quarterback Elijah Fluty on offense. Fluty was 13-of-20 for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win over Tolsia.

Bryson Elia and Adam Slone lead Tug Valley’s rushing attack. Elia had 76 yards and 1 touchdown on 5 carries against Tolsia. Slone had 149 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Rebels.

Mount View (1-5) is coming off a heart-breaking 8-7 loss to 9th-ranked Van and are looking for a statement win against the Panthers.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm at Bob Brewer Stadium in Naugatuck.
