The Spring Valley Timberwolves fell from the top spot of the WVSSAC Class AAA Football Rankings and now find themselves 6th in the newest rankings released on Tuesday.
The Timberwolves (5-1) dropped after a 21-17 loss at Cabell Midland (5-1) on Friday. Up next for Spring Valley is a visit from the Capital Cougars (2-4). Capital defeated Riverside, 26-6, on Friday.
The opening kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
The top 16 teams in each classification at season’s end will participate in the WVSSAC State Football Championship Tournament.
