The top-ranked Spring Valley Timberwolves have had a fantastic season so far, but they now have a huge test at 8th-ranked Cabell Midland.
Spring Valley (5-0) is coming off back-to-back shutouts, including a 17-0 win at South Charleston on Friday.
The Timberwolves only had 221 yards of offense last week and will look to improve on that. Bruin Booth had the Timberwolves lone offensive touchdown last week. Spring Valley and quarterback Dalton Fouch will hope to add some yards through the air this week as well.
After a season-opening loss, Cabell Midland (4-1) has rolled off four straight wins.
Cabell Midland dismantled Oak Hill, 47-0, last week and now has its sights set on the Timberwolves.
A win for Spring Valley likely keeps it atop the Class AAA rankings, while a loss will send the team back down into the pack.
The opening kick is set for 7 pm in Ona.
