The Spring Valley Timberwolves (5-0) find themselves ranked 1st in the newest WVSSAC Class AAA Football Rankings.
Spring Valley defeated the South Charleston Black Eagles (0-5) by a score of 17-0 on Friday. It was the Timberwolves second straight shutout.
This week, Spring Valley will battle 8th-ranked Cabell Midland (4-1) this Friday in a huge showdown. Cabell Midland defeated Oak Hill, 47-0, this past weekend.
The top 16 teams in each classification at season’s end qualify for the WVSSAC State Football Championship Tournament.
