The 11th-ranked Tug Valley Panthers hope to rebound from last week’s loss by taking down the home standing Tolsia Rebels on Friday.
The Panthers (4-1) are coming off a 20-13 loss at Hurley, VA. Tolsia (0-4) is coming off a bye week. The Rebels lost 50-10 at Van two weeks ago in their last outing.
The Panthers will be led by quarterback Elijah Fluty. Last week, Fluty completed 7-of-14 passes for 72 yards and 1 touchdown.
Bryson Elia also factors to be a part of Tug Valley’s game plan. The freshman had 13 carries for 71 yards last week. He also returned a kick 81 yards for a touchdown. Adam Slone has also been an impact player for the Panthers. Last week, he had 11 carries for 66 yards.
The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm at Tolsia High School.
