Spring Valley Shuts Out Riverside

The Spring Valley Timberwolves jumped on the scoreboard early and were never challenged in a 24-0 win over the Riverside Warriors in Belle on Friday night.

Spring Valley (4-0) jumped out to 12-0 lead in the first quarter behind a 28-yard touchdown pass from Dalton Fouch to Kyndon Keesee and a 6-yard Bruin Booth run.

The Timberwolves added to their advantage in the second period on a 2-yard Booth run. Spring Valley led Riverside (1-3) by a score of 18-0 at the half.

Spring Valley added its last score on a 75-yard scoring strike when Fouch connected with Keesee for the touchdown.

For the game, Fouch connected on 10-of-18 passes for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns. Keesee finished with 5 receptions for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Spring Valley will stay on the road to take on the South Charleston Black Eagles (0-4). The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm.
