The Westside Renegades fell to the visiting 4th-ranked Independence Patriots, 62-0, on Friday in Clear Fork.
The Patriots (5-0) jumped all over Westside (1-4) early and amassed a huge lead. Westside struggled to move the ball against the high-powered Patriots.
Westside’s Kadien Vance completed on 3-of-7 passing attempts. He also had 6 carries for 3 yards.
Ivan Clay, Kyler Kenneda and Hunter Cline each had receptions for the Renegades.
Parker Lambert led the defense with 4 tackles. Isaac Price and Dakota Martin each had 3 tackles.
Westside will next take the field on Friday in a game at Liberty-Raleigh. The opening kick is set for 7 pm.
